McCains came back with a nice letter saying they were sorry that the product was not up to my standards. They included £3 money off vouchers. Excellent customer service!
On a side note, when I went to Tesco to spend my voucher I noticed that Tesco do not stock any McCains frying chips - only oven chips. How times have changed.
